Here at Flaxen I do whatever needs to be done, as long as it doesn't require a lot of talent! Dishes, make coffee, answer the phones, billing, issue pay checks, submit taxes, etc.
Which talent would you most like to have?
I would love to have the talent of being able to understand what 2 year olds are saying when they look you in eyes and say whatever it is they are saying in all seriousness. That way I wouldn't have to ask them to repeat it over and over and over...

Key West (selling cool, comfortable, stylish flip flops to tourists)
What is your favorite quote or motto?
"Fish on" engraving inside my wedding band. It's also the battle cry of those hooking into a tarpon.

Mr. Clean or in my case Mrs. Clean, but I wouldn't want to be bald!

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
Sometimes I buy things I think are really neat, but I have no useful need for them...I wish I didn't do that. It's such a waste of money.
Your favorite past-time?
Fishing/boating/camping with my hubbie and kids and friends.
Who would you have liked to be?
I'm happy being myself...I know that is kind of boring, but I know my life and it's not all bad. I could say Jennifer Aniston. The beauty, the fame, the money, but Brad left her for Angelina, Vince is now engaged and John is singing songs about their bad relationship for the world to hear...who wants that?
What do you most value in your friends?
The things I value most in my friends is that we all get along with one another, spouses included and have a great time together no matter what the occasion, if any.
What is your principle defect?
Always wanting to put EVERYTHING where is should be logically...example: keys should go in the basket on the table by the front door, cell phone should be in the charging station on the same table as the keys by the front door, shoes should be in the closet or if worn often they should be in the basket that sits next to the table with the cell phone and keys by the front door...

What is your present state of mind?
In control at the moment...but at 5:20 I pick up the little ones, then my state of mind will be "undetermined".

SERIOUSLY
What do your consider your greatest achievement?
Moving to Florida on my own and getting a second chance or a do-over on my life! If it weren't for that I would not have the family I have today or become the person I am today. Sounds kind of cliche but it's true!

If you weren't a BLANK what would you be?
I weren't an office manager I would most likely be a crime scene investigator...or an author of children's books...some of the book's I read to my children are lame and don't make a lot of sense.
